The Phoenix Race is an official 501(c)(3) obstacle course race built to showcase the beauty and spirit of Erie, Pennsylvania. Our 8-mile course winds around the picturesque bayfront, designed to be as challenging as you desire. Whether you're a serious athlete, an individual seeking adventure, or a team looking for a fun group activity, all are welcome to participate.

When and where
The Phoenix Race takes place on September 18th, 2027. Waves of participants will begin every 15 minutes, starting promptly at 8:00 AM. The race kicks off and concludes along Erie's vibrant bayfront, offering stunning views throughout the course.
Support local, make a difference
Your participation goes beyond the finish line. 75 cents of every dollar raised will be donated to a local nonprofit or charity in the Erie area. After the race, celebrate your achievement at our lively festival featuring local vendors, food trucks, and beverage trucks. We also encourage everyone to explore and support the many fantastic local establishments in the surrounding areas.
